Our team at Sage Engineering has some impressive employees in our ranks and this Employee Spotlight series aims to highlight the incredibly talented individuals who work with us. We’ll be featuring a new interview here on our website every few months.

How has SAGE helped with your career development?

What sets SAGE apart from other consulting companies is the management’s genuine desire and initiative taken to understand their employee’s motivations, maintain open lines of communication with them, recognize their strengths, as well as build on their weaknesses. SAGE achieves this by careful selection of projects that adequately challenge and prepare you for the next stage of your career, while helping you navigate unfamiliar situations that may arise in the process. Combining this with access to multiple industries and departments, SAGE has enabled me to both nourish my existing skills and continuously develop new ones.

What advice do you have for prospective candidates considering SAGE?

I would recommend closely evaluating what they believe their ideal role to be. At SAGE, flexibility is a key part of being successful in the organization. If you enjoy working on a variety of projects, in different stages of their lifecycle, and for multiple clients at a time, SAGE will likely provide you with an excellent opportunity to do just that. You can expect exposure to develop your skills in equipment and facility engineering, compliance, validation, as well as project management. Additionally, as in every part of life, being patient and consistent with your commitments will put you on the road to success and when it comes to your career, SAGE will be there to guide you along the way.

What has your experience been with SAGE’s culture?

If not entirely obvious from my previous two answers above, I would say I could not have asked for better colleagues and management to help in my personal and professional development. From day-to-day communication, quarterly meetings and team building events, the culture at SAGE has always been welcoming, supportive, and forward-thinking.
